3D WORKS

WORK 1

These days I learned how to make 3D, such as structure, shape and stability. It’s like making a model building. It’s fun. I also learned how to work together and need a clear division of labor to create a complete object.

The first 3D work we did was a bridge, mainly using bamboo and cardboard. This is done in cooperation with a group. There is a designer, two handymen and two auxiliaries in our group. Obviously, if the division of labor is clear, we will cooperate very well. So we completed the bridge very well, the appearance has the design feeling also the construction is very stable. Although we experienced the failure of the experiment on the way, we finally finished it successfully.

WORK 2

The next day I learned how to turn 2D into 3D. The teacher gave us a blank A1 piece of paper and asked us to fill it with white paper. For example, a star, a TV program and so on. I’m writing about one of my favorite Korean groups, BTS, a singing and dancing group of seven boys. I like the songs and choreography they write very much. Of course, they have also been on variety shows, so I can write a lot of things on paper.

When I filled the large piece of paper with a marker, the teacher asked us to cut off the blank with a knife or scissors. I was a little surprised at that time, because it was going to be a lot of trouble. But in order to see the final product, I tried to cut off the white parts with a knife. Finally, I finished the 2 D 3 D job and found a few background photos for it. The effect is really good, I am very happy, because through this job I also got a kind of skills and inspiration, I believe I will be able to use it in the future.

WORK 3

The next day we had a new task, working independently on a small structure and putting three plastic balls on it. And the material we use is raw spaghetti and glue gun. When I first started, I built the structure with one noodle at a time, but I found it was fragile. So I used several to make a place, which would make it stronger. Slowly do each part like this and put them together and set aside where to put the ball.

Finally, the work was finished, and it was illuminated and photographed as its shadow was reflected on the wall. The final effect is like a real building, which gives me a sense of achievement.

WORK 5

After that, we have a new task, and we need paper to support this structure in any way. So I torn the paper into rectangles, rolled it up, supported it like a post, and decorated it around. Although in the end, when the teacher tested stubbornness with basketball, my work were helpless, but I still like it.
